School Challenge:

All schools in the Bunbury district are invited to participate in the 21km Schools Challenge. Each child who wishes to run in the event will map and run 19km during the school term prior to the event, and on the day run 2.1km to achieve a half marathon distance. Each child who finishes the 19km plus 2.1km on race day will receive a half marathon achievement certificate. The school with the largest number of participants will be crowned the winner and awarded the schools challenge trophy.

2019 School Challenge Winners

Congratulations to St Joseph School for winning the School Challenge for 2 consecutive years.

It was a privilege for Brett Whitford, representing the Bunbury Runners Club, to present the School’s Challenge trophy at an assembly to the winning St Joseph team.

We look forward to seeing them back in 2020!!

Many thanks to our sponsors for supporting this event!

Well done to all our runners who came along last night to second club championship race. It was a hot night for 5k race but everyone ran their best and enjoyed their well deserved beverages after!
